Designing for India: Tata’s Visionary Approach (User-Centered Design)

“The best way to design something beautiful is to design something that works.”
- Steve Jobs

A Silent Crisis

India’s bustling roads are a lifeline for millions, especially our dedicated truck drivers. However, a silent crisis lurks beneath the surface: poor eyesight. This often-overlooked issue poses a significant threat to road safety.

A Unique Solution

Recognizing this problem, Titan Eye+ took a proactive and innovative approach. Instead of waiting for drivers to seek help, they brought the solution directly to them. By transforming ordinary food menus into eye test charts, they seamlessly integrated vision checks into the daily lives of truck drivers.

The Power of Design for Social Good

This initiative exemplifies how design can be a powerful tool for social change. By understanding the unique needs and challenges of truck drivers, Titan Eye+ created a simple yet effective solution. This user-centered approach not only addresses a pressing issue but also reinforces the brand’s commitment to social responsibility.
